I have a wide range of hobbies, including photography, boating, home maintenance, and motorcycling. Lately, I’ve been teaching myself to play guitar, adding music to my list of personal pursuits. My newest passion, however, is rescuing old computers—restoring, configuring, and breathing new life into them with Linux. There’s something fascinating about watching these once sluggish systems transform into capable machines, simply by upgrading to a solid-state drive, adding extra memory, and optimizing them with a lightweight operating system.
